Lovely Day

Here is my latest CT Layout. This one is for a kit called Lovely Day by Tracy Drane. She and Kim share their CT, so I get the benefit of being able to work with both of their products. The kit can be found at Groovy Scraps. This is a picture of Jeremy taken on the bus tour at Hershey PA when we went there for vacation last March. He was enjoying a yummy pastry on the bus ride, then got a bunch of chocolate at the end of the bus ride. Hershey was a really fun place to visit. Next time we go, we want to go during the summer so we can go to the amusement park.

2nd Layout with Into the Wilderness

Here is the second layout with this kit. This kit is absolutely beautiful. I love the earth tones and the nature elements. You can find the kit at Groovy Scraps.
The font I used is called Chocolate Box and is available at dafont.com .

Creative Team layout

I am on Kim Cameron's CT. I've been on there for a long time, but haven't really been active since I started designing. Now that my designing career is over, I decided I needed to get some scrapping done and get active in the CT again. Here is the first layout I have done for Kim in a long time. This layout is for our church scrapbook. I am going to be called as our ward historian soon. I'm taking over from a sister who is 96 years old. I've done several layouts in the past year for her and she always teases me that I am going to end up taking over for her when she gets released. I'm excited and nervous about this new calling, but I really think it will be fun. It will also get me back into scrapping. I haven't scrapped much in the last 4 months. I'd kinda lost my mojo, but I hope it's back. This kit is called Into the Wilderness. You can find it here. It's currently 35% off, so you can get it for only $2.59. Here is a preview of the kit.

Fully Retired

I have completely retired from digital designing. I plan on just designing things for my own needs. My heart just isn't into this anymore. Thanks for all of those who supported me. I don't know if I will post to this blog at all or if I will just delete it. If you still want to keep up with me, check out www.memyselfandpoppy.blogspot.com . This is where my personal blog is located.

Want a free kit?

I have a new kit in the store. It is called Rise and Shine. It is filled with these cute little critters as you can see on the preview. There are 10 papers, all unique and different along with 20 different elements. There are 2 elements that have been recolored twice each, so not a lot of duplicates is different colors.

I have a special going on right now. If you spend $2.00 in my store, I will send you a coupon for this kit free. My store does not send me notifications on who orders what, so you will need to send me an email with your store receipt in order for me to send you the coupon. You can email me at digiheaven (at) gmail (dot) com. This offer is good until September 13th, so don't miss out. You can find my store by clicking here.

Scorching hot sale

Groovy scraps is having a scorching hot sale July 8th-15th. It is such a fitting name for this sale since the Austin Texas area has been experiencing record breaking heat for the past 3 weeks. It wasn't as bad yesterday and today due to the "cold front" that came through. Unfortunately, the rain missed us this time. This past weekend, we had an Austin Oakhills Stake fast in hopes to bring rain to this area. We even had Jeremy fast. He did really well considering he is only 7. I won't force him to fast every month, but I think this was very important. I am very proud of him and how well he did.

Anyway, I digress. Groovy Scraps is having a sale. My entire store will be 35% off July 8-15. You can find my store here. I don't really have anything new in the store, but these 3 kits haven't been in the store long and I haven't really focused on them.

While you are over at GS, check out our challenges. My challenge is something different each month. I get bored easily and didn't want it to always be the same. This month, it is a lyric challenge using the song 1-2-3-4 by the Plain White Ts. You can use all or part of the song. There are also several new designers at the store and that means lots of new challenges. If you find yourself stuck in a rut, jump over and check out all the cool, new challenges we have going on at GS.

Father's day sale

I have been sadly neglecting my designing and my store, but I am vowing to do better. I need to design more and advertise more. I think I have probably lost all of my viewers for my blog as I have only done 2 posts the entire year. You can tell by my sell figures too. I really do enjoy designing and I really want to design more.

So, I am having a sale in honor of Father's day. Everything in my store is 50% off through Sunday. I have several new kits over the past few months. Some of them are from my recent personal use grab bag and then my new kit that I released in April. I hope to see you at Groovy Scraps. You can find my store here.

In addition to my sale, I have also posted a new challenge. The challenge for June is to create a layout using all or part of the lyrics for the Plain White T's song "1 2 3 4". I love that song. It is so sweet. For completing my challenge, you will get my part of the collaborative kit "Island Luau". Here is a preview of the kit. You can find the challenge here.
If you want to find out more about my personal life, you can check out my personal blog at http://memyselfandpoppy.blogspot.com/ . I can't promise it is that interesting, but you can give it a shot if you want.
